Position Description

The Department of Computer Science invites applications for a limited-term Instructor position. The position for one year with the possibility of a one-year extension. Instructors normally teach at the first and second year level of our program, but those with specific expertise may teach at more senior levels if required. The position begins July 1, 2018.

Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Computer Science.  This is a limited-term position with no expectation of ongoing employment.  The successful candidate will teach up to six half-course equivalents (HCE) per calendar year, and may be involved in course and pedagogy development. Demonstrated ability (or previous experience) in delivering high-quality instruction to undergraduate students is required.

The Department is one of Canada’s leaders as evidenced by our commitment to excellence in research and teaching.  It has an expansive graduate program and extensive state-of-the-art computing facilities.
